Welcome 4th grade students and parents! I am excited to start my sixth year of teaching at MAC and 22nd year teaching overall. I graduated from Troy University in Troy, AL with a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I am certified in Elementary Education, Gifted, and ESOL. I believe in the uniqueness of each student and appreciate their differences in learning styles. Therefore, I will be using multiple strategies to cater to all the learning styles of my students, including utilizing technology, providing creative project choices, and engaging in hands-on, minds-on activities. It is my hope that my students leave my classroom with a desire for knowledge and appreciation for our world around us.

My name is Mrs. Bailey and I have been teaching elementary students for twelve years.
In my time of teaching, I have been a 3rd and 4th grade Inclusion Teacher, Technology Coach, a member of the Yearbook Committee, the teacher PTO Representative and Positive Behavior Support Team member. In 2014 I was honored to represent Sikes Elementary as their Teacher of the Year and in 2017 I was thrilled to represent Scott Lake Elementary as their Teacher of the Year. I am a graduate of the University of South Florida with a degree in Elementary Education grades k-6. Go Bulls! I am happily married to my high school sweet heart, Dustin and a mother of a very active 7 year old son, Ethan and 3 year old daughter, Avery. I love aerobics, scuba diving, running, visiting my family in Iowa and Illinois, and of course teaching! I am thrilled to get to teach students how to master and showcase the fourth grade standards with projects using research, technology, and drama. It's going to be a fantastic year and I can not wait to get started!
